Guest 2: Love at First Sight!!

Hi everyone, I am Sahithi Nallapaneni. I have been given a chance to contribute to this blog and I would be happy if I can add some more to it. Though I am not a regular blogger but still I have managed to put my thoughts on paper and here I am.

I am gonna voice out my opinion on a common and most troubling scenario that we come across today's teenagers (in fact it need not be only with teenagers, age does not matter, it can happen to anyone at any time)- LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!

You look at someone and fall head over heels, feel dizzy and how much ever u try u cant take off that stupid smile that has stuck to your face- then my dear friend do not mistake it as love at first sight, if u do then its an entirely different story. Its simply called as lust.

The fall at first sight because of how they look- their physique, their dressing sense, their smile is simple attraction. You do not know anything about the person so do not give it the name of love, its mere attraction towards pretty things in the world. Whereas love happens when u know who they are, the things that you have in common, the sense of humor, etc. You fall in love with a person gradually. You fall in love when you know something about them. You will like the way the he/she sits or walks or talks. You will fall in love as u feel everything is unique about him/her. Its then that you feel that yes that's the one u want to spend your entire life with.

Love needs time. It needs knowing about each other. It needs understanding. It needs to be nurtured, only then love develops. Love increases as time passes. The love that is their during a couples courtship years will only increase as they have their own family. Love matures as time passes, a new love forms at every stage of life which is even more beautiful than the previous one.

I will keep it short, to love a person a relationship needs to be build with time, faithfulness, commitment and care. I know I am being very critical but anyways this is how I feel about Love at first sight as I haven't come across any success stories in this matter.

I thank Ramesh for giving me this lovely opportunity to pen down my thoughts on such a beautiful topic- LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!

Enjoy reading!

duh!!!!!! ppl forgot intuition.... instinct which drives people in the most bizarre of ways just to find themselves living happily, love at first sight sounds so romantic, fairy taily and dreamy, and what is it that we live and work everyday ?? to fulfill our dreams and we definitely need to strive for it though its not in our hands but luck as someone said is the virtue of the risk taker, though i am not opposing it but they are millions of things in this world which can be considered as silly and useless as this one but i would say worth taking it up .... though there is a thin line between love at first sight and seeing someone physically attractive, thinking about it lots of love stories do revolve around physique which could be acquired physical taste for someone too!!! please dont shun it and say its not worthwhile ..... it is definitely worth it if you see someone for the first time and you have your heart in your mouth like on a roller coaster ride i say hit the bulls-eye you never knw wht the jackpot is worth!!!!!

- peace, written this to prove my mettle and that i am not being invited to write any blogs ;-)!!!!!

@sahithi: You dont have to be 4 to believe in fairy tails, i know you still believe in Cinderella and the world is flat stuff !!! but fairy tale in the sense something unbelievable and not the comic book you read everyday.
